You have a mobile phone from the ProximusCollection?

You have absolutely nothing to do. Everything is already configured.

You have another mobile phone or you don't know if your mobile phone is ready to surf?

In order to make MMS, Vodafone live! and Mobile Internet work on your device , you need to update the data accounts on your device. Here are the values you need to enter:

 

To make Vodafone live! work:
Create a data account with the following parameters:
Name of the profile : "Live"
Acces Point Name (APN): wap.proximus.be
User name or login name: wap
Password: wap
Gateway or WAP Gateway or Primary IP gateway or Server address: 010.253.007.003
Homepage: http://live.vodafone.com
Primary port number : 80
Authentication Protocol : default or "not secure"

 

To make MMS work:
Create a data account with the following parameters:
Name of the profile : "Proximus MMS"
Acces Point Name (APN): event.proximus.be
User name or login name: mms
Password: mms
Gateway or Server address: http://mmsc.proximus.be/mms
MMS Proxy or IP address:  010.055.014.075.

 

To make Mobile Internet work:
On most devices Mobile Internet requires the same settings as the Vodafone live! data account or even fewer, but the Acces Point Name (APN) is different. Mobile Internet is required if you want to use your device to surf on the Internet or use the POP 3 e-mail client on your phone.

Proximus can detect wrong configurations
Proximus will detect when you try to initiate a data connection with incorrect settings. When this occurs, you'll get a free SMS notification asking if you want to receive the correct settings.
By simply replying to this SMS, you'll receive the correct and complete settings via SMS, for free.
On some devices, the PIN code 1234 is required to install these settings on the device.
